The joy of making music on the playground can now be enjoyed at any age. The collection of Rhapsody® Outdoor Musical Instruments has expanded with six instruments that are a bit smaller and lower to the ground—sized just right for kids ages 2 to 5.

A fourth grader who uses a wheelchair will soon get to play on the playground with her friends. Her story convinced a panel of judges to award the Mankato Downtown Kiwanis Club $25,000 in inclusive playground equipment as part of the Legacy of Play® Contest.

About 80 school principals from around the country gathered to install a playground at Princeton Elementary School in Suitland, Md., part of the Prince George's County Public Schools. The playground build is part of the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP)'s Community Service Day.
