Annual Speaker Scholarship Program Accepting Applications

Annual program has awarded 265 scholarships to support conference speakers

Landscape Structures Inc., a Delano, Minn.-based commercial playground equipment manufacturer, has announced that they are once again accepting applications for their annual Parks and Recreation State Speaker Scholarship program. The 2020-2021 program will support the appearances of keynote speakers at state parks and recreation associations’ annual or regional conferences.

Recipients of the 2020-2021 scholarship will receive $2,500 to support the appearances of keynote speakers at state parks and recreation associations’ annual or regional conferences. New for this program year, Landscape Structures will provide one complimentary Play Healthy™ Hand Sanitizer Station to each state association awarded a scholarship to raffle off, donate or share with a member. Children and families have been eagerly waiting to get outside and back to the playground during this global pandemic, and Landscape Structures is happy to help communities return to play safely with this new product offering. Scholarship applications are being accepted now through June 30, 2021.
