Landscape Structures, Kiwanis International Launch Contest to bring $25,000 in Playground Equipment to a Deserving Kiwanis Club’s Community

Contest encourages Kiwanis members to help build community through playgrounds

Landscape Structures Inc., a Delano, Minn.-based commercial playground equipment manufacturer, announced today that it will once again partner with Kiwanis International, a global organization of members of every age who are dedicated to serving the children of the world, to help a deserving Kiwanis club bring a playground to their community through the Legacy of Play Contest on Facebook.

The winning Kiwanis club will receive $25,000 in playground equipment to be used toward a playground project. The contest is open to all Kiwanis clubs that are currently working on a playground project, and that can complete the project on or around 2017 Kiwanis One Day, Kiwanis International’s signature day of service during which many clubs participate in service projects benefiting their local communities.

Qualified contestants may enter the contest at facebook.com/Kiwanis by completing the entry form. Entries will be accepted April 4 through May 5, 2016. Following the submission period, Facebook users will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite project. The contest winner will be announced on or around June 9, 2016.
