Habitat Systems Inc. Honored as Landscape Structures’ Rep of the Year  

Jan. 31, 2013 –Landscape Structures Inc., a Delano, Minn.-based commercial playground equipment manufacturer, has named Habitat Systems Inc., a Western Canada-based park, playground, and landscape equipment supplier, 2012 Rep Organization of the Year. The award was presented to the Habitat Systems team during Landscape Structures’ annual sales meeting in Minneapolis, Minn.

“Habitat Systems was named 2012 Rep Organization of the Year because of their commitment to the customer,” said Tim Barrett, western regional sales manager at Landscape Structures. “The entire team at Habitat Systems is focused on enhancing the playground creation process, making it an enjoyable experience to complete a quality playground area that is on time and on budget.”

“While it’s tempting to focus solely on a company’s sales statistics to prove their worthiness of this award, I’m proud to say it is much more than simply numbers,” explained Barrett. “Because Principals Mark Bodie and Jeff Musson have concentrated on building an exceptional team of employees, Habitat Systems was able to connect with clients in new and unique ways. This focus enabled the organization to create a record number of places to play in British Columbia and Alberta in 2012.”

Habitat Systems has worked on many notable projects with their clients including the Edmond’s Community School Playground in Burnaby, British Columbia, which was completed with the Vancouver Canucks; the Pipestone Creek Dinosaur Park in Grand Prairie, Alberta, that contains playground fossils to replicate fossils found in the area, and more.
