Tyler: This is our first fully accessible play area.
Tyler voiceover: The design with the ramping, with the access on almost all of the features its huge. Because then people can come here.

Tyler voiceover: Any Abilities, all ages are on here from kids up to grandparents and everybody kind of being here with them.

Tyler: This play area has really transformed.
Tyler voiceover: Certainly, the park space but also what’s happening in our downtown.

Tyler: Any given day there’s 50 to 100 or more people on the play area.
Tyler voiceover: Been a good thing for neighboring businesses, the coffee shops the restaurants. Everything close by seeing more traffic. And it’s just been a remarkable space and a transformation for our Village Park.

Girl: I’m six and my favorite thing is doing the monkey bars here. Because I like monkey bars. And I like the slides too. Because you can go fast on them.

Boy: My favorite thing is to play on the swings. Because they’re fast.

An arched welcome sign opens into an extensively ramped custom PlayBooster® mainstructure that will entice children ages 5 to 12, complete with multiple climbers, slides and learning panels to choose from. A sloped hillside offers additional fun with over-under bars, net climbing and some Ninja warrior equipment. A balance beam, steppers and a rollerslide provide balance challenge and sensory stimulation, while children of all abilities will love the inclusive We-Go-Round® and We-Go-Swing®. Children aged 2 to 5 have a SmartPlay® Market Café all to themselves, which offers fun, imaginative learning tools, a slide and sensory panels. A Rhapsody® Ditty® Metallophone gives budding musicians a place to shine, and a quiet seating area protected by SkyWays® shade allows caregivers a calm place to relax.
