The Parks at Walter Reed is a redevelopment of the former Walter Reed Army Medical Center that redefines city living and puts the outdoors in easy reach. One piece of that redevelopment is a nature-inspired play space for kids of all ages and abilities. The feature of the play space is a custom Netplex® playstructure with Recycled Wood-Grain Panels, playground net climbers, the Alpine® Slide, SwiggleKnots™ Bridge and more. The playstructure is play functionally linked with Log Steppers and bouncers that look like wooden leaves to the TightRope™ Bridge. Set apart from the playground structure are the Global Motion®, Oodle® Swing, We-saw™, playground swings, and a hillside slide and tunnel for even more adventure.
