AR - Mt. Hebron Park

Video features a Landscape Structures inclusive playground and shade installation at Mt. Hebron Park in Rogers Arkansas.

[video: scene fades into a full fly over of the large play area with colorful large shade structures over each play structure. Scene fades out and back into a ground view of the colorful play structures and their shade systems overhead. Camera pans right to left of connecting accessible playground decks and ramps of a blue themed play structure. Scene switches as the camera pans left to right across a green themed play structure. Scene fades to a man as he stands in the middle of the large play area and speaks to the camera. White text appears in a beam of blue light in the lower left corner of the screen reading “Peter Masonis, City of Rogers Public Relations Manager”.

Peter: Well, this project actually started as a part of a bond initiative. For the city of Rogers and so, residents had some input on what was going to be here. Residents voted that they want this to exist.

Peter voiceover: And so, it’s been quiet a little bit of time in the making and a lot of planning, a lot of development. Like I said resident input as to what’s going to be here and now, we have what exists. And residents are beginning to enjoy it. A very important part of the park here is the inclusive playground, the accessible playground. And so, to my understanding it’s the largest in Arkansas. And which is a great thing. We are very proud of that, we’re very proud to be able to say that this is here, it resides here. It just really speaks to Roger’s valuing not just recreation but also inclusivity and just standing here really speaks to that.

[video: a boy rides towards the camera on a zipline disc swing. He hits the end bumper and begins to ride back down the track. Children climb on a cluster of different colored domed climber with small and large holes. A boy jumps from one pod climber to the next between the dome climbers. A girl spins her friend in a seat spinner. Camera pans right to left as children run up the ramps and decking of the blue themed play structure. A mother runs and pushes a large multi seated spinner with two young boys on it. The boys smile as she spins them. Scene switches as the camera follows a boy while he walks up a spiral belt pathway leading to the top of a red tower structure. A mother sits behind her baby on the blue themed play structure as her son spins and plays at a color wheel panel. A group of boys climb a rock climber and a cross a connecting rope climber to an additional rock climber. A boy sits on the center belted area of a spider web like climbing set suspended a few inches off the ground connected to the base of multiple playground posts. A boy walks out from a play tunnel on the blue themed play structure. Camera zooms forward as a girl climbs up an inclined green crawl tunnel. A boy jogs to spin some riders on an inclusive carousel ride. More children jump in to help spin the carousel. A boy seats himself at the top of a blue spiral slide. The camera follows him as he rides down. A boy and girl climb on honeycomb like climbing panels on the blue themed play structure. A bother walks away from the play are holder her daughter as families continue to play on the different structures in the background. A group of children run their hands over marble sensory panels and viewing windows in the shapes of stars of a sensory play tunnel. Screen jumps to white. A black vertical line draws itself on the center of the screen. The ACS Playground Adventures logo slides out to the right of the line. Then the Landscape Structures logo slides out to the left of the line. Text fades in below both logos reading: For a better tomorrow we play today. Screen fades to black and video ends.]
